Trail Lite generator?

I have a class B 2006 Trail Lite by R Vision that has a generator button on the control panel but no generator. I was told when I bought it that it could have one and would go in the driver side front compartment. The compartment door seems small. What would fit? What type generator would be good? I'm thinking of doing this in the future as I dry camp a lot. Thanks

Some of these smaller Class B/B+ could have a 2800 to 4000 watt gas, lpg or diesel generator.
