Thanks for your reply, and it's a good conversation to have with people who still have a propane refrigerator....
I'm afraid that a lot of people don't know about how just being off level can not only destroy their unit , but, also catch fire.
I'm new to RVs, 3 years, and it's a very steep learning curve.
I have noticed that many of the new RV'S being sold today have a 12 volt compressor refrigerator... it's a growing trend.
Our old system had the altitude limitation ( right in the owners manual) and extremely inconsistent temperatures, unlike the compressor refrigerator which is very stable.
There's just too many negatives for me to like the propane model. I'm not against propane, I have a propane generator, furnace and stove top.

Unfortunately, a lot of people who don't spend the time to actually "read"; yes, reading is good.... make decisions based on "feelings", not facts.
It's good to be informed, knowledge is power.
