1-800 Freightliner Help

Man,ya really gotta love them. Have had to call them several times in the last month and they have always been friendly and willing to spend the time it needs to take of your problem. I had an ebrake warning pinger that kept going off and they told me what the problem should be,told me where the sensor was and gave me the part number. I replaced it and the problem went away for a bit and then came back. Called and found out where the pinger is under the dash and don't have the noise anymore. I also didn't know what the thingy with Haldex on it was and sent a pix and was told it was the air dryer and it really needed servicing, which was done. This weekend I called about not having backup lites and where was the reverse switch on the tranny. Rhonda talked me thru it and told me it was probably the relay and told me what box it was in. I finally found it and shore enuff I have lites again. She also worked me thru the lack of cruise control problem I had by telling me that there was a relay under the drivers window,BUT it's called something else. I hope that putting a new relay in helps. I'll find out next week on my next roadtrip.

Isn't it great when tech support isn't overseas?

I've gotten the same reception and treatment as you each time I've used them. Last time I got a "good ole boy" who nearly wouldn't let me off the phone he was so chatty and helpful.

Yep, agree they are great! I wish the Freightliner service folks in north Fort Worth were as helpful
