2003 ISB Ambient Air Temp Sensor location

2003 Bounder. 5.9 Cummins. Check engine light and power de-rate showing due to the ambient temperature sensor. Can anyone guide me to its location?

On my 8.3 ISC it is in the wiring loom passenger side of engine just loose, but not sure on yours.

Have you check on the Cummins Quickserve site, if you have a fault code you can do a look up and it will give you detailed instruction on how to troubleshoot and fix.

Somewhere on the Quickserve site I found a document that has a complete description of the engine including sensor location. Also found a drawing that has them identified.

We are using Cummins Quick serve and so far no help on the location. We have the part coming and hopefully the diagram to locate the part at the dealer will have a good exploded view.

Showing a 15% power de-rate. The thing was a BEAST even with that de-rate all the way from MD to CA. Can't wait to compare with full power on tap.

Hopefully by having the replacement part in hand, we can compare and locate it as well. Thanks for the input.
