2005 Freighliner XC chassis Neway suspension

Recently took my 2006 Coachmen Sportscoach Elite to a local service center to find and repair an air leak and replace the 20yr old air springs. During the inspection the shop notified me that the rear suspension bushings are beginning to deteriorate and need to be replaced in the near future. Rear suspension is (I think after a little research) a Neway ADL120. Pretty large $ expenditure to replace bushings.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and willing to relate their experience?

Thanks

The joys of owning a 20 year old coach.

Its going to turn into more in labour probably than cost of the parts.. Shop around to see who is going to give you the best install price. Some shops may have the proper tools for doing this job and it will cut your labour drastically. Stay away from aftermarket bushing i have seen way to many premature failures and i refuse to sell them.. The only bushing i sell are OEM or ATRO that are now a OEM replacement.
Your going to pay more on labour as most shops have a higher labor rate for motorhomes just do to the fact it is much harder to work on them.

Somehow even with OEM replacement suspension parts no longer last as long as original even for cars. Amazing how many suspension repairs come back to haunt after a couple years. Same for CV joints and boots. Yes, get the best you can and inquire about warranty, if any.

Part number

Would you have the part numbers for the airbags by chance?
Thanks, Rob
