2009 XCM A/C Reciever Drier Location and maybe part number?

I have a 2009 Fleetwood Excursion 40T on the XCM chassis with the 8.3l ISC engine.

We had an A/C clutch failure and had to open the the system to replace the A/C compressor. Now to re-fill the system I would like to replace the A/C drier when we do it. The question is...where in the heck is it?

I have confirmed through the Freightliner dealer that it is a Freightliner installed part. He gave me a price...but not a part number.

If someone that has knowledge of the location of these could point me to where to start crawling around at I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if someone knows what the part number is and maybe a source of one a bit cheaper than the dealer I would also appreciate that.

TIA

It would be up front on the firewall most likely left of the generator.

Coldhose.com has inexpensive replacements which are probably much cheaper than Freightliner. Just find one that fits with maybe the correct bracket. They're pretty much generic.

Thank you for the reply.

Ugh...that's going to be fun to get to. My generator isn't on a slide...

No need to even be near the genny. I'm sure you have a way to open the hood area right? Do that....look for filter/dryer. You will need to access the same area to vacuum/charge the system also as that's where the low pressure port is as well.

Awesome, thank you. Spot on.

Its a Parker GAFP110704. Some place called coolairparts.com has a replacement for $35.

Thanks a ton for your help.

Any idea how much refrigerant it takes? I've got a call in to Fleetwood to see what the factory spec is.

The Denso service manual states 3.5#. That’s what I used and it’s right.
