2011 Dutch Star starting issues

I have a 2011 Dutch Star 3734 with a 400ism
When I turn the key on it seams everything functions as it should when the glow plug light goes off I turn the key to start it nothing happens
Then I go turn the battery disconnect off then back on and the unit starts
I cleaned the batteries and checked for voltage they are good and clean
Any ideas

Do you have a Rear Engine start switch? I have one that enables the tech to start either up front or in the engine bay. Mine went bad with similar problems. Changed it now all's fine
