A BIG a thank you to Freightliner in Gaffney
We had an appointment for Friday 3-10-23
Yesterday.
I had a big 3 yr maintenance list for my 42,000 miles on my motorhome.
They were amazing, picked up the RV at 7am, worked all day beyond 3:30 pm closing to 5:30pm to get it all finished in one day. (Friday)
It included
The complete 12 month chassis inspection and chassis lube of everything
Oil change, and lube
Air cleaner air dryer
All axle hub service
Tranny change with filter
Coolant check
Power steering check
Gear box service
Ride height check
Air tank service
And most importantly a full alignment
They did find my tag was way out of alignment and the front was out of alignment. Post alignment it was all spot on, perfect.
They address a few minor warranty issues, mostly related to the dash update. I guess I didn’t know that the dash recall update took away the wait to start light. So the wait to start light is gone with that dash software update.
As to the cost, I felt it was very reasonable.
The camping sites have excellent 50 amp voltage too.
So I want to thank these employees
MJ
Joe
Charles
Jennifer
That is all.
Jim
PS: we are good for another 42,000 trouble free miles
I do recommend joining the FCC club to get your 5% discount

I've heard nothing but good things about Freightliner in Gaffney. However, I'd rather have a root canal that try to use my local Doggett Freightliner. The list of irritants is too long to post.
2cyber71, just sent you a PM.

We are planning to stop by there the start of May. I talked to them the other day and they have no appointments open but said if we came in and didn't mind waiting they could get us in within 7 days. We are in no hurry, so will be hoping they can indeed get us in.
Are there usually any spots open at their hookups without an appointment, or are they always full? They told us that if there were any open to grab one.

They have 27 total sites with 50 amp. I got there on a Thursday afternoon and there were several open sites. By Saturday morning no one was there. We left on Saturday. I needed my 30 ft power extension to reach my pole, some don’t.
If you get there before 3:30pm you can register and get ready that day. Then they will come to your RV and pick it up at about 7am
Watch my video link below.
Here is a photo of some of the sites.

A BIG a thank you to Freightliner in Gaffney
I’ve been there five times since 2013. Never had a problem getting a site. Usually arrive after 3:00 so that may be why.
