Of course replace the air drier unit. And rule of thumb on most parallel flow condensers is that they are not flushable. Replacement is recommended.

One final post on this topic...all is working great. Ended up replacing the expansion valve and taking it to a place in Naples before we headed off the Keys.
Place did a great job. My system is a 3# system. It was only $199 for the vac and charge. The systems is blowing colder than I ever remember it. Very satisfied.

Just In case anyone has similar problems, I got the expansion valve and the fitting online at coldhose.com They are in Ocala, FL and I had the part within 2 days since I was not far from them. Customer service was great and their prices were very good too. They did not list the expansion valve online, but I called and they were able to cross the part number that Newmar provided to me which was their own number, but it's nothing more than a Evans piece. Newmar part#03949P - 139.62, Evans#RV218310 and cold hose had it for $25.

Also dealt with acparts.com and their tech support was awesome too...they couldn't get the fitting I needed and cold hose had it in stock. Here's a few last pics.

Yea! I hope the repair lasts for you for at least a few years.

Thanks for the help and support!

At least I know what I did was done correctly. Replaced orings, not cross threaded and tight.

The last 2 repairs done by others lasted less than 1 season
