Cool Air Bags won't inflate

Looking for some help guys please.. All my air system is working properly other than my Air Bags will not inflate.. System airs up as it should and kicks out at 130LBs pressure (+-), Brakes work, have brought air up several times and tried releasing emergency brake (Yellow Knob), pump system down till brake kicks back on hoping to reset, still bags won't inflate...

Any suggestions?

Does it have a HWH leveling system? If so, try hitting the Travel button. Same issue came up in another topic and all of us with HWH have had to learn this. If you manually dumped the air when you arrived, they will not air up until you hit Travel even if the jacks are not deployed.

morning folks... none of the bags will inflate; i have pressed the 'travel' button to no avail (yes HWH system) also touch pad was replaced this past spring and system worked as designed up until now; and yes am in southern Alabama not Sask...

I think the problem is a valve that isn't opening to allow bags to inflate...

Ours airs up when you start the engine and activate the level up system to retract the jack. Different brand though. Slides are interconnected and wont light up for extension or retraction unless engine is running and of course in park. Probably the same as others. Interesting how small changes from brand to brand can be a learning curve. Glad it worked for you and didn't require repairs.

Seems they prefer less weight on jacks when retracting in my case... Always learning ....

Thanks, just talked with Freightliner tech support, he advised of a switch/button on the dump valve under the coach, should inflate the bags however if we use the jacks we will dump again. We are happy to travel without jacks, does anyone know of this magic button and where it is? This is a new 2019 Newmar Dutch Star, less than 3K miles, all bags deflated, no inflation with anything we tried...

Ok, update - local mobile RV repair guy came out, activated the manual switch on the dump valve (located center coach in he front just behind the steps underneath), all bags filled quickly and are holding. We don't yet know if the valve is faulty or if it was just "stuck". We will finish our Christmas trip and set up a warranty service at freightliner after the 1st. But, most important we are mobile, just can't use the jacks...

I am going to check this as it may be the same as mine where you can dump the bags

This would make sense that it could have been open

Anyone checking this be careful as you can dump the air very quickly and if you're turned sideways could result in an accident

Hi had the same issue with my 2010 Winnebago Journey 40L went to Winnebago Iowa factory they said they fixed it, checked in the parking lot it worked. By the time I got back to NJ it no longer worked had to crawl under and hit the reset. Took coach to a local guy hour round trip, by the time I got home he called it was fixed. Somehow the coach lost its programming with the jacks and air bags. Local guy reprogrammed to tell the coach it had air bags worked fine after that. Sorry for the long explanation. Good Luck
