Air compressor discharge hose inside diameter.

I bought a new air compressor discharge hose, that goes from the compressor to the dryer. This is on a 2005 Caterpillar C7 to a Haldex dryer. I had it made at a local hydraulic shop. It ended up being about the same price as the Freightliner part, so no saving there. The hose is 6 1/2 ft. long.

My question is, the original hose had an inside diameter of 5/8Ē the new hose is 3/4Ē. Is that a problem? I have of course already installed it in the motorhome. I donít want to damage the compressor or the dryer.

Just a tiny bit more space for the compressor to fill , not an issue .
