American Revolution air suspension
I have a 2017 American Revolution 42P with a Freightliner chassis. Almost every time I shut the ignition off the suspension dumps and if I am parked on an uneven spot such as a fuel island the tag dumps/leaks. This is my first coach with a tag so unsure if that is normal. The suspension always refills ok but takes time obviously. Any suggestions? The coach is still under warranty but nearest Freightliner dealer is an hour away.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
Sorry but I don't know anything about Freightliner or tag axles.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

A few questions:
How do you know it is the tag that is dumping? Is it just by the sound you think that?
Does it look like any air bags are deflating and the coach lowers?
When you have this happen, what do your air gauges say when you get back in the coach?
I'm wondering if you have an air leak.

Well
A buddy just bought a '14 American Revolution 42 with tag and his DOES NOT DUMP the air when he shuts down the engine. So, based on that and, the many, many diesel coaches I've been around and camped near by etc. and they don't do it unless it's done manually, I'd guess you have an issue. Now, just where to look on yours for this issue, I can't say.

It might be in your HWH panel if that’s what you have for leveling. We had a bad panel and every time I started the MH the air bags would inflate.
Also some tags are designed to deflate when under a certain MPH to ease turning.

Thanks for all of your replies and Sky Boss is correct, I believe that the noise is coming from the tag at times. I aired everything up yesterday and rolled around underneath to no avail, no air leaks. It is an intermittent issue and seems to happen when the coach is on an uneven or non level surface. I hadn't considered the panel being bad, also could be a level position sensor or adjustment. I burped the air release valve also which sounded like a little moisture coming out of it. Once the suspension dumps the air gauges read 65 psi, and after extended periods they drop to 50 psi. Taking a trip this weekend and from your replies this is not normal so if it persists I'll take it in. Thank you all.

Certainly not normal. If you don't find any leaks then it's likely the controls.

Shutting off the engine should have nothing to do with the air system. Call REV if you are still having the problem.
