Any body know what this is?

I picked up a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 39Z and was doing the chassis service myself for the first time and noticed these. They appear to be a constant use solenoid and maybe a fuse of some sort. One has had the wire repaired with wrong gauge wire. I do have the wiring diagrams that were provided by Fleetwood and some that Freightliner sent me but I cannot seem to find these on either.

Both are automatic reset circuit breakers.

You need to read the amp rating to decide it the wire is to thin.

THey are either as Twinboat sez auto reset circuitbreaker or they are terminal fuse blocks or if you will extreme hazard fuse break. Once blown will have to replace. If it looks like the gizmo is enclosed in a hollow case and sealed then I would lean toward what Twinboat sez, if its more of a solid block looking thing then I would lean toward a fuse block. Functions similar to a fusible link only its a block.

I'm not all that familiar with the 39z Bounder. Is that a diesel? Based on the pictures, and what appears to be an oil pan and trans parts, I'm gonna assume it is. Now, with all that being said, in the pictures below, you'll see an arrangement of solenoids and circuit breakers, *somewhat* similar to your pics. They are not EXACTLY like yours, bus similar. And those components in my pics are related to the starting of our CAT C-7 330HP. Now, could those items in your pics, be related to starting your engine? Not a clue.

If the wiring diagrams you got from Freightliner are anything like the ones they sent me , you won't see them .
I have the schematics for my 99 and they are difficult to see, on those.
You engine trans set up looks way different than what I'm used to , but I'll hazard a guess on the circuit breaker and relay functions.
You would have to trace the wiring to be sure .

Face side, of the plate as pictured , circuit breaker and relay , possible engine grid heater , in that case the wiring size is fine , particularly if it's the same gauge wire past the relay.
Back side of the plate. circuit breaker for the chassis power cable to the front of the coach , supplies all chassis battery circuits in the dash .
The relay on the back of the plate; just barely visible; is probably the starter relay.
Here's what they look like on my 99 with a third circuit breaker ; added by Newmar to protect the cable from the coach batteries running to the front of the coach.

Picture was taken one handed reaching over top of the muffler; so please excuse the quality . red arrow , grid heater C/B 100 amp per wiring schematics, green arrow F/L dash power C/B, 135 amp , yellow arrow Newmar manual reset C/B 150 amp , and blue arrow starter relay. I guess that F/L decided to give them selves more room by mounting on both side of the plate in 2000.

I beleive that the information you gave will help me greatly! One of the problems that I am noticing is a voltage drop at the front of the coach and it could be that these connections need a good cleaning.

Dash power cable runs to a power stud ( similar to the pictures ) that's on the outside of the firewall behind the left headlight on my coach , and all dash power is split from there.
So another spot to check .

Are the fused to the Battery Control Center? Disconnect Switch, or do you have a method for charging the Chassis battery what stationary
