Camp Freightliner II - Worth it!

Just got back from having our Winnebago serviced at Gaffney and I signed up for the Camp Freightliner II class. This is where you spend the whole day out in the shop with a technician under your coach. It really helped to reinforce some of the stuff we learned in the first class. It's amazing to see these guys calmly walk around and work on these rigs hoisted up in the air by the jacks that I wasn't so sure about at first. . You get to ask questions all day and watch them do the service you requested. Well worth the extra $100 which included snacks and lunch. Besides when else will you get to take a cheesy selfie under your rig?

I'm in freightliner class 1st week of March 2016. What can I expect from class and what kind of paperwork can I expect. I was told I will get info on my personal 2000 Dutchstar.

To be honest I can't remember what we brought in other than some manuals for our FL chassis. When we got to class Cody had individual info sheets on each of our coaches that he pulled from our VINs. It's great class with lots of information. He knew our 2003 chassis up to what is being built today. My wife started to glaze over by the end of the first day. You will walk away with a nice 3 ring binder stuffed with lots of information. Make sure to get any work you need done scheduled early. There were a lot of people there last week. Some had appointments some were walk ins. You'll enjoy it's a very relaxed class and they feed you some good lunches. If you have time check out the Cowpens battle field there is a nice 1 mile path around the park.

I took the Freightliner I class two years ago. My annual maintenance is due in June. I see if I can sign up.
Thanks

Ben,
Not to worry. Ari-Hetra is some of the finest lifting devices in the world. In my previous life I sold that product line and did sell to M/H dealers. Most everyone steps back and says, Not on my coach please. If you were to see the inner workings you would be much more comfortable.

I think it was Charles Atlas who said, "Give me a place to stand and I can lift the world". Pretty much the same with Ari Hetra's The more axles you have the more they will lift.

Regarding Camp Freightliner II, do you know if they are expanding the time period they are offering it? My understanding is it is only available during their slow times only. I tried to get it in October and they said nope.

Took the Camp I the first time in Gaffney and a second time in Oregon. What I have forgotten since then would really make the II fun. But seriously do I want to take my coach that far north in December?
