No, catalytic converters are a gas engine, exhaust system component.
Your coach is also older than, DPF ( Diesel Particulate Filter) you have only a muffler.

I have a Cummins ISL 400 manufactured in December 2006. The muffler is a catalytic converter. what are the last 7 numbers of your vin and I will see if I can pull it up on DTNA

Sorry but I cannot get into the system with your vin. It will only let me put my vin in. It says i am not authorized for this vin. You can get in touch with freightliner and get registered with them which will give you permission to put your vin in. I find lots of my part number an info on it. It does not cost anything. DTNA is Daimler Truck of North America.

Well gang,
First off, it's the last SIX numbers of a vin that provides access to some files in DTNA. Second, you can't get into DTNA with the last 6 of the vin. What's needed to gain entry into DTNA is, you have to register your coach with them and of course, IT HAS TO BE IN YOUR NAME, NO ONE ELSES.

Once you've completed all the required info to get the process started, it will take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to be allowed access. Once that process is completed, you will now need a USER NAME and a PASSWORD, just like you do on any forum.

Now, once you're in, YOU THEN PROVIDE THOSE LAST SIX of the VIN to start the files access for various components of your CHASSIS, not the coach builder.

One more thing, as has been stated, once you're a member of DTNA, you CANNOT INSTILL anyone elses last 6 of their VIN, to find info on it. You are logged into DTNA for the purposes of finding info on YOUR COACH CHASSIS, no one elses. Third, I can't answer about any Cummins products but, yes, in or around '04, Caterpillar did have some of its mufflers with built in catalytic converters. Those are some seriously expensive "mufflers". Our coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 and based on the price of a replacement "muffler" for it, I can only assume it HAD a converter in it, when I chucked it in place of a real piece of junk, the Aero 5050XL Stainless Steel, straight through muffler. What a horrible waste of money. But, that's another story for another time.
