Check trans fluid from smartwheel optiview display

I have read where on the transmission black push button shift panel, there is a way to determing transmission fluid level.

I have the ‘smartwheel’ which has the shifter on the right stalk. There is a engine menu on the left side to show various guages.

Cannot find a mention but does the smartwheel also show the trans fluid level?

Using the "round arrow pad" on the left side of the steering wheel, arrow down until you get to "Diagnostics", then press the "OK" button. Then arrow down to "Transmission Prognostics", the press the "OK" button, then you should see "Oil Level", "Oil Filter Status", and "Oil Life"

I pretty sure this is the information you are looking for...
