Code Reader Suggestions

I am looking for a good (not shop quality) code reader for our XCR/ ISB MH. I know many of you have them might tell me if you are pleased with your model or if it doesn't work like expected.
Thanks,
Mike

I had a ScanGauge D on our Freightliner and it will display and clear codes. It also gives you other functions such as coolant temps, transmission temps, boos pressure, fuel mileage and much more. A great tool for more than just reading codes. There were some changes in the connectors between our 2015 and our 2017 so be sure to specify the year of your coach.

I'm happy with Bluefire for Motorhomes and their Bluetooth data adapter. It is more of a custom dash tool than a scan tool, but can serve both purposes.

X2 on the Bluefire, used to have a Scangauge and switched to the Bluefire and it’s much better IMO. You can build your own custom dash on a tablet or phone to monitor or check and clear codes. I have mine on an iPad mini mounted overhead.

Like LT Dan, I also have a ScanGuage II. It's able to monitor quite a few engine/transmission functions and any 4 can be displayed in real time.

The display is about 1 1/2" by about 4" and with some creative thinking might be able to be built into your dash as I did.

The BlueFire is certainly fancier and can monitor more real time functions simultaneously, but it's a bit unwieldy if you have to use a tablet.
