Custom Chassis Fuse Locations
I am cross posting this from he Tiffin Owners section. There has got to be another fuse box but nothing I have shows where it may be and I can not find it. It has to have a box with relays and flashers somewhere. My horn is out and now my taillights.
2006-07 Tiffin 37 DB Front engine Diesel sitting on a Frieghtliner custom Chassis.
A couple of days ago i had a small trailer plugged into the RV. It obviously blew a fuse. I have found two small fuse boxes under the steering wheel on the inside and two the same size mounted to the firewall. I can not find any other but seems there would be one, bigger with relays and such in it. Does anyone have ANY idea where this may be?
You would think I could hear the flashers clicking somewhere but I don't.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice.

Call Freightliner for a chassis wiring diagram, have your serial number handy , on the diagram you'll find the dimensions of the wiring harness , you have found one box , identify that box on the diagram then you can measure back on the wiring to a junction in the harness and on the diagram you can track distance to other fuse/relay boxes.
All this wiring is laying tied down on the top of the rolling when it arrives at the RV manufacturer , they string it out and attach it where it will reach and they have room to mount it. Actual location can vary by the indiviual installer.

Thank you Skip, do you know where I might find the serial number? Will the VIN work? This was a used unit and I have very little information on it.

One the outside or the inside? Under the dash area? I spent 3 hours yesterday looking for it.

I believe that your FRED ( FRont Engine Diesel ) chassis will not have the , compartment , that Mister T spoke of , that outside compartment , below the drivers seat , in front of the LF wheel , is common on pushers . I don't think there is any room there, for a compartment, on a FRED.

This appears to be correct. I have look all underneath. I am about to the pull the dash completely out but I do not see it anywhere up there.
