DTNA Parts Pro

It seems that Freightliner no longer supports a 1999 chassis for Parts Pro etc. They suggested to go to a dealer for parts information. Hopefully they still have info.

I guess the owners of the older chassis were spending to much time nosing around in their computer system looking for info
Got a nasty gram in June saying my DTNA access was terminated .
Luckily I had an idea they were terminating and took pages of notes with part numbers , and I've had my wiring diagrams and schematics for 10 years.

I used the online access in the past, but thought it was more trouble than it was worth for me. In the meantime I have had no problem with getting parts for my 1999 Freightliner XC chassis. Last year I bought new air bags, the year before a new air tank for the air brakes, park break switch, and other parts. I just priced a new radiator last week, and it's readily available. (Radiators are supplied by the chassis manufacturer, not the engine manufacturer) I have emailed Freightliner Custom Chassis in Gaffney several times with my VIN and they've supplied part numbers, and even emailed manuals and as-built shop drawings of my exact chassis. Pretty cool seeing the chassis number and notes on a 1999 drawing.

All that said, I have had the local diesel shop tell me that they couldn't get parts. Turned out they were calling their Freightliner Truck parts house. I had a hard time getting them to understand that Freightliner Truck and Freightliner Custom Chassis (FCC) are two different companies under the same umbrella. I gave up and buy my own parts for them to use. I get the part number from FCC in Gaffney and order the parts at the closest Freightliner Truck parts counter. Usually they get it from the Memphis warehouse and I pick it up from them.

Of course I don't know what part(s) you are seeking. I have recently heard that some front end parts for the XCS (front engine) chassis are no longer available. I wish you luck in finding what you need.
