Electrical issues

I have a 2004 Mandalay 38B diesel pusher with a Cat 7.2 and a Freightliner XC chassis.
My issue is the unit has sat for about 4 months and during that time the batteries died. I replaced all the house batteries (4) 6 volt wet cells and the two chassis batteries group 31 AGM.
My issue is that I started the unit after the battery change and I have a non functional instrument panel

Any suggestions will be helpful

Verify batteries are properly hooked up and all wire attached as they should be (particularly the chassis batteries).

Any chance someone installed the reverse polarity-- even for one second?

I did the battery change myself and I was sure I installed all the wires as they were. I am going to double check today.
Thanks

Most modern vehicles have fused smaller wires that feed fuse BOXES and IGN/ DASH, POWER CENTER/ RELAYS, etc. If polarity correct and no momentary reverse polarity, maybe a wire dropped/ unconnected and hidden behind (= a common mistake). Otherwise start at battery terminals w/ TEST LIGHT. GOOD LUCK

2004 Freightliner chassis would have the MMDC ( Multi Module Data Center ) instrument cluster and dash warning system .

RV Tech Library - Freightliner MMDC Information Display

I don't have a 2004 Freightliner chassis wiring schematic , closest is a 2003 hope it's some help.

Did only the dash board warning lights come on? Just recently experienced that too when my batteries died. Just recently experienced that too when my batteries died. Skip426 suggested I check the wires that power the front dash on drivers side. They could have lost good electrical connect. I cleaned mine and tightened them up. They came back on. Just curious I found if I held the battery boost switch down the dash livened up too.

Simple - You started coach = good batteries and computer ok.
Data to Dash is by MMDC.
Go thru each gauge and check connections
