Final Charge Global OAT - extender needed?
I installed Final Charge Global OAT anti freeze in my cooling system. Didn't feel like messing with the test strips anymore. After 3 years an extender was to be added.
I can't find the extender anywhere and after looking at the PEAK website I no longer see any mention of an extender. Now it says that it is good for 8 years/20,ooo hrs or 1,000,000 miles without adding any supplemental additives. (This used to be 6 years/600,000 miles with the entender added at midpoint)
What is real the story

That's what it says and that is what I just put in mine. So I guess that is the real story

Harry- They have changed the effective life of the coolant, based on "long term fleet testing". A million miles or 20,000 operating hours without additives or extenders. They state in the video on the test strips, "they are to insure the coolant has not been diluted or contaminated by refill or top off with another product."
They no longer mention test strips in required maintenance.
A: To maintain the protection of FINAL CHARGE GLOBAL Coolant/Antifreeze's patented technology, the proper level of the proprietary inhibitor system should be present in the cooling system.
• Do not add Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCAs) to the cooling system or use chemically charged filters.
• At every regularly scheduled preventative maintenance interval, visually inspect the coolant for contamination with sediment oil. The coolant should appear clean (not cloudy) and red in color.
• Using a refractometer, or a coolant test strip, test the freeze point of Final Charge Coolant/Antifreeze/ at least two times per year. Maintain the freeze point between -24°C (-11°F) and -51°C (-62°F).
• Use only FINAL CHARGE GLOBAL 50/50 Pre-Diluted Coolant/Antifreeze when topping off the cooling system as needed for freeze protection

I guess that one slipped by me I usually keep on top of things thanks for the update. Now I have to remember to think of it five years from now. Now there is a challenge.

It looks like my belts and hoses will be coming up for replacement again
in another 2-3 years. Plan to flush and refill the Final Charge while I'm in there..
Unless of course I go over a million miles in the meantime

That's not a fun job. Do you have to contend with a rear radiator?
I just check them regularly. I am getting a bit concerned about the motor aid hoses so I am just removing them all together. I am never in a rush for hot water anyway. Belts were changed 2 years ago

Yes-Rear radiator but good access from underneath or from under the bed. Hoses from Freightliner, belts are "Green Strip" and seem to hold up well. Still have original heater hoses, I know that's coming up. There are valves at each end to isolate the long hose run if there's a leak..
