How to avoid chassis rust

I have a 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor, DP with 130000 mi and a freightliner chassis. I will be parking it for a year at the beach. Is there a way to avoid rust and other environmental problems?

It's gonna rust near Salt water. Or
Coat everything in grease. Or
Move it away from water.
In 2 weeks near the Gulf mine was coated in Salt. Lost all 3 A/C fan motors bearings. $400 in parts. 6 hours replacing.

Look into a product called “Fluid Film”. It works and is easy to apply. You can buy rattle cans of it at Autozone or buy it by the gallon on Amazon.

You might also want to look at a product called wool wax. The guy in this video talks about both of them and shows how he applies it.

Or maybe this one:

Or this one.

Happy viewing

When I toured the Monaco plant back in 2004, it was one of the dirtiest shops I ever saw. They sprayed everything with a rubberized undercoating. They made a good product, but that spray residue was everywhere in the build shops. We ended up buying a 2005 Diplomat and 10 years later, there was still no rust anywhere under the coach.

On my current and last Dutch Star, it's not coated like the Diplomat. However, when I do my yearly service, if I see a spot that looks like it's starting to rust, I just spray it with rubberized undercoating. It coats well and stops any issues.
