Your tag switch has three positions. Pushing on the front of the switch (AUTO) the tag dumps automatically at low speeds so that when you turn a corner, the weight is taken off the tag to prevent unnecessary wear.
The middle position on the switch is OFF. The tag dump is off and does nothing.
The third position is a manual tag dump (MANUAL DUMP). If you push it once, it will dump the tag manually and the dash will light up, saying tagged dumped. If you leave it in that position, as you drive forward and reach a certain speed, the tag airs up. When you slow down to stop, the tag dumps again and you get the dash light. To get it out of manual tag dump, push the back of the button again, or push the front of the button and move it to Auto.
Once you shut down the coach, it defaults to the middle position of off. That's most likely why you didn't see it the next day. You'll also get a tag LOW AIR alarm when the coach is airing up, until the tanks are full and the tag airs up.
