Harrison Truck Center, Clear Lake, IA

I need to report some excellent service from Harrison Truck Center in Clear Lake, IA.

We were on our way to Winnebago to see if we could get some repairs done. About 80 miles away I stopped for fuel and when I started, the check engine light was on. I pulled into a truck spot and called Freightliner for help. They talked me through the diagnostics and said I had an active code 2349 (EGR Valve). They then found a service center on my route, and Harrison Truck Center is a Freightliner center and Cummins certified. I called them and I was told that if I were there around 2 p.m., they may have time to look at it. I was there a short time before that and a technician had just finished one job. They confirmed the EGR valve was faulty, had one shipped from Des Moines, IA, and said it should be in the next day by 10:30 a.m. I was on time, they were on time, and by noon time we were finished.

A BIG thank you to Harrison Truck Center for the friendly greetings, and for working me into their busy schedule. Any one in the area needing Freighliner, or Cummins, service may want to give them a call:
