Jounce Bumper to air springs?

Ok, here's the scoop, I have a 2001 Fleetwood Expedition on a Freightliner XC chassis with a solid front axle.
The Jounce bumpers I believe are badly in need of replacement, they are noisy and squeak up a storm.
This chassis is a SPRING suspension only with Jounce bumpers, no air bags. I would like to replace the jounce bumpers with air springs or air lift 5000's, and wondering if anyone has done this. I believe this would also help it's wandering when driving down the road. I replaced all four shocks, as it still had the original shocks on when I bought it about 3 years ago.
It is a great coach, little 5.9 Cummins ISB gets great fuel mileage, but would love to improve the ride a little.
Thanks
Jim

I can't for the life of me , figure how a jounce bumper could squeak.

Have you checked other suspension parts ?
Sway bar bushings ? Leaf spring bushings ?

With full leaf spring suspension, it is likely you have the XCS chassis.

In 2001, Freightliner issued Chassis Service Update 32-4 for the XCS chassis. It was a modification to the suspension to eliminate banging and squeaking noises in the front suspension. The upgrade replaced the sway bars, both front and rear, added a noise reduction kit, (shims) into the springs and provided new re-valved shocks all around.
This was a recall for a period of time. the service kits are no longer available but Freightliner may still have the directions available. Call Freightliner with your VIN, they can confirm if yours is an XCS (OR XC) chassis and whether or not the bulletin applies, and hopefully provide you with a copy..

XCS Model Recreational Vehicle Suspension Modification 32-4

FWIW, I developed a squeak in the front suspension last year, it was the sway bar bushings, which are not difficult to replace..

Well skip when I grease the contact point for the Jounce bumpers the squeak goes away for awhile, hence I have surmised that the jounce bumpers squeak.
Thanks Hooligan, but really looking for someone who may have put the Ultimate 5000's on, they have an internal jounce bumper and can be ran with no air, course I will tie them into the air system with a gauge and ability to fill up to 100 PSI, probably 20 to 30 lbs would do it.
Oh, and my suspension DOES not have an anti sway bar, SOLID axle. Sway Bar Bushings was the thing I was looking to change also, but unit has NO sway Bar I guess Solid axles don't have them. I inspected the front end to ensure that no one had taken them off, but it was never equipped with the bar.
I will call Freightliner, I have called them before on a couple of matters, so thanks for reminding me

My Freightliner RV chassis manual is for the XC chassis. 1999 version. (The XCS chassis apparently did not have it's own manual). It shows the XC chassis with Neway air suspension.. I assumed (I know) the XC's all had air suspension. Hope you find a system that works..

XCS is 22,000# GVWR and 26K combined.
