Hello,

I am wanting to service my Midland air dryer. Where have you found the best price for the filter kit? Thanks!

dreamer.

dreamer,

I don't know about the "best" price, but I paid my local Freightliner parts dept $110 for the DQ6026 service kit for my Pure Air Plus Haldex/Midland air dryer, which includes both the desiccant and coalescing filters, as well as new shields, relief valve and gasket. your sys may be different, Haldex/Midland have 2 models of air dryers in use on recent MH chassis.

jim,

Thanks for the reply. I have a Freightliner dealer near me so that will work. Thanks again.

dreamer.

I got the same kit at NAPA. I paid about $102 but that was nearly 16 months ago. I do remember the NAPA price was lower than my local Freightliner dealer.

I purchased the Haldex dryer kit DQ6026 from Frightliner for about $130. According to my VIN this is the one they came up with.

What is the experience on changing out the filters?

Thanks, Jeff.
