Need help with trouble codes....

Tripped ANOTHER Check Engine Light.

Three codes are showing up.
SPN 3226 FMI 9 OC 29
SPN 5246 FMI 0 OC 1
SPN 1569 FMI 31 OC 8

I am so frustrated at this point I am ready to put a For Sale sign on it.

3 CrankCase Pressure Sensor incidents.
1 A/C Compressor
1 Overheat incident due to a coolant line blowing off a distribution block.

Now these codes. I've owned this rig, for 8 weeks, been on 4 trips. Each trip had resulted in Check Engine light or breakdown.

Oh yea... I forgot, the Stop Engine light came on as pulled into the driveway.

It runs, but will only go 5 mph... Now it will need to be towed to Freightliner.

ISB fault codes...

This is cross posted as well in the Freightliner Chassis forum.

I have three active fault codes resulting in a yellow check engine as well as a red Stop Engine light.

The trouble codes are:

SPN 3226 FMI 9 OC 29
SPN 5246 FMI 0 OC 1
SPN 1569 FMI 31 OC 8

Can anyone point me to a reference to see what these mean? Or can anyone tell me?

Calling Freightliner tomorrow to see if I can get a mobile Tech to come out. Can't drive it 10 miles at 5 mph.

Frustrating again.

Why call FL when it is a Cummins engine?
And the fault codes are Cummins.

Tow rig showed up today.

When he pulled the drive shaft he found a wire loom hanging against the rotating driveshaft. Several of the wires were worn through.

Hopefully it's a quick fix.

After treatment issues.... But....

When the tow rig showed up today, he pulled the driveshaft and found a wire loom hanging against the spinning driveshaft. Several wires rubbed through!

Hopefully FL can fix it quickly!

Glad you found the problem!

I have merged your two duplicate threads here since our forum rules don't allow duplicate posts.

Best of luck.

Got the rig back yesterday... Apparently, that wire loom hanging into the driveshaft was perhaps... All my problems. I can see that.

Anyway... Fixed and running good.

Washed and waxed today (I need to have my head examined for getting a black coach!!). But it looks phenomenal!!

New England next week... Crossing my fingers for a problem free trip!
