New protocol for DTNA Connect, look into it!

Hey gang,
Well, for those of us that are members of DTNA connect, there's a new protocol for its operations. The term *DTNA CONNECT* is for the most part, phased out. It will still linger on for a bit due to the transition period needed to allow all users, not just motorhome owners, to transition to the new system and get used to all the new pages, terms, benefits and all that. For the most part, at least so far, you just log on as usual and from that point, it will direct you to the new protocol and just how to fill out the new requirements.

It's quite a bit different than the old system of DTNA Connect. I got to a point where it wouldn't allow me to go any farther but, it eventually did and, I'm still lost in all the new system. In my personal opinion, this new system is aimed waaaaaay more at the technicians/dealers/sales/ and more, and not so much for the private Freightliner chassis motorhome owner. It's definitely a learning curve so far.

My thoughts too, new system is aimed at techs and other service pros. My profile even lists me as a “service tech” and although I followed instructions to change it I could not find my assigned ‘system admin’ or whatever they were called.

So after all that i could open parts pro, pull up some of my chassis specs and…thats it.

Maybe others can tell me if I am missing something.

To be fair, I don’t think it was ever intended for owners, we were only tolerated from time to time. And I was told at freightliner school if you don’t log in at least every 90 days they delete your account.

FloridaSon,
They don't "delete" your account, they simply advise you that your password is about to expire, and you need to change it. I've been on it since it was called *Access Freightliner* and then DTNA Connect, and I've let my *account* expire more than a few times. It's no big deal. If I've tried to log on and it won't accept my username or password, I simply call the help number. Those folks have always been quite helpful.

One more thing, sometimes their system gets a bit finicky to logging on due to the wrong browser being used. According to the latest phone call, they are supporting Windows 11, Google Chrome and Edge.

I logged on today and it came up as the old system, not the new one.

I'm going to just come out and say it: The new system s*cks.

I loved the old system because I could find parts through the diagrams. I learned a LOT about my coach though the old setup. Now it's just a big photo album of parts.

The new system is incomprehensible and I can't begin to guess who on earth would like it.

Probably the same computer programmer as Windows 11 !

As younger programmers move in , the systems they set up will make less and less sense to those of use who weren't allowed to even carry a calculator in school .
