Slack adjusters are not working. Get that thing to a good brake shop before you have an incident that causes you much heartache.

I believe he posted yesterday that he already had gotten it fixed.

I don't dance, never have, don't want to, consider it a waste of time and energy, and I do not have any desire to be close to any other woman other than my own wife.

Miss-placed post.

I can't dance either, but I'm a mean square-dancer!

Sounds like that coach had been rode hard and put up wet by the previous owner.

Glad you got it fixed, I thought it might be a broken spring in one of the parking brake canisters. When you said you had poor brakes I thought for sure it was a adjustment problem, as it turned out it was both. Glad you got it fixed, work on them every day, start with the simple fix and then go from there is my motto. Jim

Hey! Was that from Dan Ackroyd in Ghostbusters?

Actually, the brakes now work GREAT! They did replace all four brake chambers and the slack adjusters. They replaced my original Meritor slack adjusters with Gunite slacks. I like that because I've seen several posts on the internet that seem to indicate some people have problems with the Meritor's. He showed me the old parts. I think the biggest problem were with the clevises. They were really pretty rusty and did not work freely at all.

I just drove it home on about 20 miles of stop and go interstate and did so with the exhaust brake off and no problems at all stopping. It feels like a new motorhome!
Sounds like Ray
