Pre purchase inspection, bad coolant fluid analysis

I'm in the process of having a Newmar Dutch Star inspected and have had fluids analyzed. The report shows problems, I will attach below. One question, is the radiator and associated cooling systems provided by Freightliner or does the engine manufacturer design/build-contract out this system? The engine is a Cummins L9 450hp. The coach is a 2017 and has 45,000 miles. It lacks maintenance records I can reference. I have no experience with diesel coaches nor have ready access to this coaches documentation.

Call JG and have Tom or a Coolant expert give you a verbal opinion. I don’t understand the mention of Copper in the Comments? There is no copper value stated?

I use JG labs also for both transmission and coolant testing. My cooling test came back red. The copper was at a severe level (25), and they gave a long list of what could be causing it. It seems to me you should have a number in that box. If your engine has a coolant filter, be sure to change it along with the coolant.

Freightliner is responsible for the coolant in the system.

Tom, mentioned above, is the owner of the lab and was one of the developers of Transynd. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. After talking to JG, I'd call Freightliner for their opinion.

When I bought my 2015 back in 2020 the coolant came back showing abnormal 3, and I replaced it and it is fine now 5-7 years is a reasonable life span for most coolants.

Thanks for the responses. I will call the lab on Monday and then talk to Freightliner in SC. I think there is an error on the report that some else noticed. The comments mention high copper but the report shows no copper but high aluminum. I'll ask Tom about it. The report rates its severity as critical. I'm not one to just dismiss a report that uses word like "critical" to discribe the results.
If this is normal, then everyone with half life coolant should be getting the same results. I'll ask Freightliner and depending on their answer, I'll ask why they suggest the coolant to good to 100K miles.

Freightliner says the coolant should be good for 5 years or 100k miles...whether ELC or standard coolant.

Cummins recommends their Fleetguard ES OAT Compleat 50/50 pre-mix coolant good for a million miles with annual testing.

Because of brand loyalty, Freightliner will push their coolant and say the Fleetguard is not compatible with their coolant reservoir sensor.....which is simply not true.

Kysor makes the coolant reservoir level sensor and a sensor is a sensor irregardless of the coolant.

At Cummins recommendation I changed mine 4 years ago and no issues....coolant or sensor.

I replaced my coolant with Peak (Old World Industries) extended life coolant. Did some research and found they make the Alliance coolant for Freightliner. Not sure but they may also make the Cummins Fleetguard coolant.

So far no issues.
