“Radar Comm Failure” Alert!!

I have a 2020 Winnebago Horizon 42 Q on the Freightliner Chassis.
Bought new March 2020 with 28,000 miles on since purchased
Heading to Florida the day after Christmas I get a big bright alert overlying my Digital Speedometer “RADAR COMM FAILURE” with 2 idiot lights.
Lucky I was stopping for fuel, called Freightliner 24 hour hot line.
He told me it was my Adaptive Cruise and Collision Avoidance unit, it lost communication with the sensors. I told him I don’t have Adaptive Cruise and Collision Avoidance on my unit. He looked up my VIN a and said that my dash was reflashed in March 2020 to remove that software. I said it’s there now!
So he said no problem bring it in to reflash the dash software when I can.
Lucky me it didn’t affect my 2500 mile trip but I had to look at the alert and the idiot light for the last 2000 miles.
I just thank god it didn’t shut me down.
I still can’t figure out why it shows up 2 yrs and 28,000 miles later.

We're at about the same mileage on our Horizons and that's one thing that hasn't acted up. I have an appointment at the Freightliner service center in Gafney in a couple weeks to take care of my routine maintenance, reflash the dash to fix the safety recall (dimmer). Have you had yours reflashed to fix the dimming issue yet? If so, I wonder if that introduced the problem. Safe travels, we're headed to Daytona for the race in a few weeks.

Nope, I still have all 3 Freightliner recalls open.
My Freightliner shop here is Tracy's in Binghamton, NY.
I have at least a 6 week wait to get in.
I suggest you tell your service centers what happened to mine. There is a reflash for the Radar software that should be done.
