Rear Droop XC
My ,14 Journey is on an XC chassis. The rear is hanging a little low and the rear pressures swing between 100-120, cycling every 30sec. The rear mud guard will drag at times. So there is a leak someplace, but given that it’s even between the sides I am looking for some guidance. Thanks!

I have dumped and autolevelled and then refilled a few times. When I refill the front pressures stay around 120 but the rears drop down to 70 and then start to build pressure again.

Once the compressor has built up pressure, if you turn the motor off, can you hear the leak? If you can hear it, can you determine about where on the coach, drivers or pass side?

Ok , your front and rear gauges are not indicators of pressure in the air suspension system , the two air tanks are a redundant feature for the air brakes . The air suspension will take it's air pressure from only one ; and on my coach it comes from the front tank .
You'll need an "air system diagram" from freightliner to confirm , have your serial number handy and call 1-800-385-4357
Questions.
Can you walk around the coach and hear air leaking with the engine off ?
Sitting overnight , without using the levelers, does the suspension drop , and tank pressures go down and you get low pressure warning buzzer in the morning?
There is a known issue with the dash gauge wiring harness ( LBCU gauge package ) and replacement wiring is available.

Just noticed as we pulled out on I30 towards Dallas. I shut down and could hear it leaking but by the time I got under it stopped. I will try it again.

Rear Droop XC
If your compressor is cycling every 30 seconds going down the highway. You have a sizable leak.
I had similar symptoms and it ended up being a failed rear leveling valve. Replaced and compressor now cycles 30-40 minutes depending on how rough roads are and brake usage.
Soapy water on the valve will show a leak that you may not hear.

Thanks Skip426 for the reminder. Yes, make sure proper safety steps are taken before going under coach. Jack stands, ramps etc.

Leak is in the area of the passenger rear airbag. I can get up in there to pinpoint it and it’s raining so it’s a mess…

Heading into Freightliner in Banda, TX first thing in morning.
Was going to play around with it for a while but since they said I can get in I jumped on it.

I had a similar issue, of course you can have an air leak from any source but a typical point is the levelers since they are a valve that is always opening or closing. Levelers are not that difficult to replace as a DIY. If you go down that road come back and post a question, i can lay out the steps generally.

Hole in passenger rear air bag. Diagnostics, parts and install about $600
Doggett Freightliner in Buda, TX. Awesome facility and great bunch of guys who got me in first thing the next morning. Could not be any happier with their service.
One thing I am curious about is the path to diagnose the problem. I built air pressure, shut off engine and crawled under looking for the leak. Is there a way to pressure the system with an external air source while the jacks are up? Like could I connect to the port in front and back fill the system while I search for the leak? If I could not have get in at Freightliner I would have been trying more myself to find the source of the problem.
And….does anyone carry a spare air bag?
Thanks!

It's good to hear you're fixed up and mobile .
I'm not sure if it's common ; but there is a Schrader valve on the bottom of my air system dryer to add air to the system , from an external compressor.
NOW , if the suspension was down , I'm pretty sure I couldn't get close enough to the dryer to hook an air line up.

Was the hole caused by road debris damage or just normal wear and tear?
If normal wear you might consider proactively replacing the other bag.
It has the same mileage as the one that failed.
I doubt if anyone carries spare air bags.
