Replace Front Air Bags?

I currently experience a very harsh ride (front end) on my 12 yr. old 43’ Allegro Bus/Freightliner. Do you guys think replacing the air bags would help the problem? The old bags do not leak or show any sign of wear or deteriorization.

No, but you may want to check the ride height.

Shocks and front tire air pressure would be the possible causes .

The air bags ; old or new ; will always inflate to the same pressure .

Do you have your loaded for travel front axle weight ?
Is that weight less than the FAWR ?

Yes my ft. Axle weighs less than it’s rating by approx. 2000 lbs.

With your tire pressures set to the TIRE manufacturers ; inflation to weight ;chart , if the ride is still harsh , then shocks could help.
