Just curious when folks who have the FL XC are replacing the OEM shocks (mine are Bilstein) ..what mileage interval? On our last trip, I may have noticed a bit more bounce than normal. Also, wonder if the Koni's or Ride Kings really offer a better ride and handling...enough so you really notice.

smlranger,

Most of our customers have us install KONI shocks after they ride in a coach that has them or they are ready to make their coach ride as smooth as possible. We have installed KONI's on brand new coaches as well as older ones and everything in between.

Smlranger, this is another question for you did your coach come with the Bilsteins, if not did you ever drive it with the original OEM shocks? Ours has Zachs on all fours and they work okay have talked to someone about Bilsteins he said better handling but stiffer ride and tire pressure for actual weight on tires is more important. Read a post about Koni's don't remember where an owner upgraded from Zack's to Koni's and said handling was great no sway or wander but very stiff shock much more road input. Thinking about Bilsteins on all fours myself but Zach's are not all that bad at present nothing like the Monroe's that came on our Adventurer 32V 2002 they were in my opinion unsafe in heavy cross winds.
