Should I Have Winnie Factory do LOF?

Currently in SW Minnesota and will be heading back to Arizona in the next few weeks. Should be there early October. Coach had it's M2 service in January and I'm not quite at 6000 miles yet but it's been 7 months so I'm due for a lube oil and filter (M1) service.

I'll be stopping in Forest City to have the Winnie factory do a few things on the way back. Any thoughts on having Winnie do the LOF or should I wait and have my favorite Oasis shop in Avondale, Az do it? I suspect Winnie with do a "Jiffy Lube" kind of job while Oasis will probably look things over more thoroughly, but.....?

Don't get me wrong. I've had good luck with the service tecs in Forest City but IMO unless you are in desperate need I would wait until your Oasis center.

If you pass a Speedco (many along the interstates near truck stops), you can get a LOF, fuel filters, all critical fluids checked, and an immediate oil analysis, all at a very reasonable price. I had my last maintenance done at a Speedco and was impressed with their service and pleased with the pricing. They had a special on a synthetic rear differential fluid change, so I had that done also.

Thanks guys. I'm certainly not in great need. I haven't hit the 6K miles yet but it's been 6 mos. I think I can hold off another month to get to Oasis in Az.

Thanks for the tip on Speedco ranger, I haven't heard of them but will watch for 'em now.

You can go to their web site and get pricing for all their services. They charge RV's the same as 'medium duty truck.'

Don't know about Winnie specifically, but in my experience, MH manufacturers and dealers really don't want to do chassis work, including oil changes, tires, etc. They more often farm them out to the Cummins (or whoever) shop down the street.
