I replaced my tires about 2 years ago, and took the best tire and put it in the basement. I haven't needed it, but it would be better to call for road service and have them use that tire

Added question about a spare

Don't have our MH yet, however I thought about the same thing. We plan to tow a 20' trailer, and therefore we have a little extra space. Thought about finding a spare wheel and tire.

Can you jack up one corner of a coach using the on board levelers?

I have a Harbor Freight 3/4" drive impact gun that would get the lug nuts on and off, and of course there is air already on board. Why would I wait and pay for road service?

Just as you have the space to carry the spare you are good to go.
Your leveling jacks should be able to get the jacking job done. The tire shops all use the Motorhomes jacks. At least all that I have seen.
