TruckOS - "What Could Be Coming !!!"

Technology is truly going to revolutionize the way that RV Chassis are going to be built and designed within the next few years "IF" technology is brought over from the truck division.

What you may be interested in as an RV'er is the TruckOS which I can see being integrated into an RV Chassis just as easily as a truck chassis. They are only limited by imagination and the want to do it. Take a look .... Spin it if you will to RVOS.

Revolution

That's a cool video!

Improved aerodynamics and aluminum frame rail construction could definitely help benefit the RV market. Interesting it has no big mirrors sticking out.

Being a retired truck driver and my son being an over the road driver, I do not see a happy driver, as with all the trickery in making a bed. They actually live in the truck for sometimes 2 months at a time. But then again, the engineers.....

Mirrors ???? We don't need no stinkin' mirrors!

It is awesome. Rear view wide angle cameras no doubt with manual tracking and zoom capabilities. Just think about how much less noise and drag you get with these masts as opposed to a westcoast or other larger mirror.

JPMaly, I think this is a day cab or part time OTR. I'm sure a sleeper would be a bit more accommodating and more comfortable.

How do you like the manner in which the driver gets in the truck? A back door! I'm telling ya.
