What spare parts keep for Cummins ISL 400 HP?

Friends who've attended Camp Freightliner say they recommend carrying spare parts and sell kits. What do they recommend?

2013 Freightliner XCR Chassis delivered to Newmar customer Jan. 2014.
34,000 miles.

Engine Model: ISL 400 HP / 2100 RPM ; 2200 GOV RPM
Allison 3000 MH automatic transmission

Order extra part?

Belts (store in shrink wrap to preserve)
oil filter
Fuel filter
Generator belts
Air filters
Air dryers
Transmission oil filters

I carry spare fuel filters for main engine and generator, serpentine belt.
All other filters are off-the-shelf items at any major parts store and HDT repair shops
Makes me wonder if commercial passenger bus' ever carry spare parts???

Why carry a spare oil filter and not 6G of oil???

Based upon 15 years of traveling in our diesel Rv I would suggest
carrying a serpentine belt, A/C belt, and fuel filters. Also the tools
to carry out any needed replacements.
Beyond these simple repairs, more serious involved repairs need
a good truck repair shop.
Regards,
Jimb

Thanks for your replies. I've edited my info in my Freightliner contacts notes on my phone/iPad/computers.

In 115,000 miles i have not used any of the parts i carry. I bought an air filter on the road when we went to Alaska. I will add that for our trip in June. I carry most of what you list just in case we need it. I hope to just take it for the ride. I carry too many tools and plan to leave some at home. My coach needs to go on a diet and lose a few hundred pounds.

X2. If regular maintenance is performed as recommended by Freightliner/Cummins/Allison; is it really necessary to carry a bunch of spare parts???

I addition to a serpentine belt, I carry the the long arm NAPA tool to engage the idler and slip the belt on. I also carry a shorter bypass belt in case the AC compressor freezes up. I had that problem in Casper WY and had to get back east for a meeting so it took 6 tries but I found the belt that fit.

I bottle of Diesel Kleen also helps if you get some bad diesel and have to limp back off the interstate.

I carry spare primary and secondary fuel filters in case I ever catch up with the bad diesel that supposedly is out there some where

In over 50 years of owning diesels no filter change on the road yet

BTW the Ford 6.7 fuel filter change for secondary and primary was 30K which we observed and always had filter capacity to spare

I do change the 450ISL at around 20K though just because Cummins recommends that interval

To say....just carry a credit is a silly response. We had a three year old A/C compressor freeze up and the main serpentine belt burned off as we pulled into a campground. The options, have it towed 75 miles to Flagstaff Freightliner and possibly wait days, or break out just two tools needed to change it. I carried the standard belt, but needed one that bypassed the A/C. I took the old belt and determined what length I needed. A local Napa store had the belt. Within about three hours, including sourcing the belt, we were ready to go. This way I could fix the A/C at my leisure when I got home and not at the mercy of an out of state shop.

You bought the belt at Napa, could you not buy the tools you needed there (or nearby) as well?

Kudos to you sir, for your knowledge, experience and physical ability to deal with this issue yourself and on the road. Unfortunately, I'm not in that situation, so I'll have to rely on Coach Net and a (hopefully) honest and capable repair facility.

A belt change tool sure don't require much room and most of us have basic tools on board

Spare belt on higher mileage units does make sense, getting towed would sure be the pitts

Spare Belts ( easy to install with the side radiator)
Both fuel filters
Oil Filter
Coolant sensor (inexpensive $14. )
Water pump for fresh water system
Tools to make repairs or replace the items I carry.
