What to expect at Gaffney

I am planning on being in Gaffney, SC in a few weeks and was told by freightliner that I could sign up on a waiting list for service ( 1'st annual on new RV), as no appt available until first of year. Has any one done this and wondering what I might expect. Also am I right in assuming they not only do the chassis lube and alignment check but also the oil change on Cummings engine and Onan generator. Obviously, my first time so be gentle.

What to expect at Gaffney

I've been to Gaffney several times for scheduled maintenance. It was without a doubt the most pleasant service experience I have ever enjoyed. Professional, competent technicians who know what they're doing, combined with an overall pleasant atmosphere.

They have about 20 parking spaces all with 50 amp electric hook ups. Water is available at the single dump station in the corner of the lot.

Give them a call, talk to Pat, and she'll get you all fixed up.

You might also consider signing up for Camp Freightliner. Schedule your school and your service work at the same time and kill two birds with one stone. I have attended this school twice. Well worth it.

The factory that builds all the RV chassis is right down the street. This is the most knowledgeable freight liner service facility you'll find, the only thing they work on is RV's. As mentioned, just pull around back and find a spot to park. Water and Sewer dump are on the island you'll pass on the side of facility on the way to the back.
