Hi Folks:
Thought you might like the following: Awhile back I noted an oil spray-out on the right front wheel. I thought I had lost a wheel seal and took it to the FL shop in Jackson, MS. They replaced the hub cap for $150.
When the left wheel showed the same oil spray-out, I called the FL Oasis in Tolleson, AZ and Kirk said I could do it myself. He gave me the part number and I picked up a new hub cap at their Chandler shop along with a quart of 80W-90 gear oil for $20.
The job required a 1/2" socket to remove the old cap. The total job was 1 hour with half of that being scraping off the old gasket.
I saved over $130. The front wheel bearings are totally lubricated by this oiler hub cap assembly. If it leaks out, you could lose the entire bearing set and have a very costly repair. Checking the fluid level annually is easy and takes less than 5 minutes.
Just thought I would jot this note to you all.
