A/C & Furnace Thermostat

I'm really unhappy with the relatively small size of, and faint display on, the thermostat that came with my rig.
Has anyone replaced their rig's original thermostat with one of larger size and having a larger and more legible display? If so, would you please identify the maker, and if known, the model number.

Thanks to all,
- BIll -

I'm not sure, but this would be a nice addition. I would imagine that they are all wired virtually the same. I would look at your wiring and then look online to see if the wiring is the same. If so, go for it!

Some companies produce thermostats with very large numbers for poor sighted folks. My numbers keep getting smaller every year. I think they dry out and shrink.

Welcome all to irv2.
Some thing you may have to consider is any control units you have in your AC's and furnace.
The thermostat will have a control lead to your first AC control than the second AC & furnace feed from that control not from your thermostat.
The company that supplied your thermostat with the system you have now may produce a larger numbered display that would not cause a problem with your system.
The wire connections are made with 4 conductor telephone wiring cords between units.
Looks like you have DUO- THERM controls look at diagrams will explain.
