An Introduction from the Hanks

[an email received by the editor from the Hanks]

Marilyn and I are new owners of an '07 New Horizons Summit F39RLTSS. We picked up the unit on Sept.13 and immediately returned to San Antonio, TX. We were Park Hosting at Government Canyon State Natural Area just west of San Antonio near Helotes.

We are full time and expect to travel but we are somewhat restricted because my 93 year old Mother lives in an assisted living facility in San Antonio. We expect to Park Host again at GCSNA in January and February and at Guadelupe State Park in April and May. We will be at 281 RV Park in Bulverde, TX until January.

There is a 2001 New Horizons in the 281 RV Park and their names are Fred & Eva Whitten(?)

Marilyn and I grew up in El Dorado, KS; then both attended Oklahoma State University. We were long term Houston area residents where we relocated after I got out of the Air Force in 1969. I was a chemical engineer with 36 years refining and petrochemical experience before retiring in 2002. Marilyn raised three children then was an office manager for 12 years before giving it up to assist our elderly parents.
