New Steps?

We have a 1998 New Horizons and our steps are getting to look pretty bad - rusting and chipped up. A quick look on the web and I have not found any replacement steps that seem anywhere near the quality of what we already have. Has anybody else replaced their steps? We were thinking of painting them but with the nonslip tread on them it seems like they could still end up looking just as bad as they already do. Any ideas?

Thanks to Lloyd for all his work for us NH owners!

Let's get this forum going! I am surprised that no one responded. There should be a brand name on the steps, like Kwikee, and they should be able to replace them (they just bolt on.) The factory should also be able to help. Otherwise, renovation should be easy. Scrape/sand the non-skid tape off (if that's what it has) and apply a few coats of primer and hi-gloss black RustOleum type paint and you'll be looking good!
