A 1/2" breaker bar. My 16" wheel lugs nuts have a torque rating of 140 ft lbs which is relatively easy to loosen and tighten by hand. Even though these wheels are on a Thor Axis, they are the same as on an F250 pickup so maybe the same for you.

1/2" torque wrench. Since the lugs should be tightened to a specified torque, I just use the torque wrench to also loosen them, after which I use my Milwaukee 1/4" impact driver to quickly remove them the rest of the way. The torque wrench can go up to 250 ft lbs, so it has a long handle and makes it fairly easy to loosen the lugs.

I also use a 1/2" breaker bar most of the time. However I do not loosen and retighten them. If I had a need to pull a wheel for tire changing or maintenance I do so.

I do also have battery powered hex drive and a 1/2" dive impact gun in my tool box if I choose to use them. The 1/2" gun has 1200 ft/lb of break away.

I can think of a time I have ever done the tires on my pick up, but I could if I needed to. On my HDT I am leaving that up to shop since they are 450-500 ft/lb. However I could do them if needed.

Please verify what torque specs are for your truck and 5th wheel.

That way, we can address your needs instead of what we use on ours (that may be quite different).

NEVER use a torque wrench as a breaker bar, that's what they make breaker bars for.
