Atwood Water Heater, no propane flow?

Hello. I'm new to the forums and I have a problem with my Atwood gc6aa-10e 6 gallon hot water heater.

I have a 2004 keystone outback 28footer. I have had some issues with the hot water heater before but this one stumps me. When I turn it to propane only I can hear and see a spark but I do not smell any propane. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this? I am planning on taking the propane valve out to see if anything has clogged it up; however, I would like to know if there could be any other potential problems that can cause this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

You have DC ---spark elecrtrode firing but no gas flow
SO either you gave a issue with the solenoids on the gas valve ---no DC, Bad connections, bad solenoid (BOTH have to function in order to open gas valve)

Clogged orifice (screws into gas valve body)........which is easy to clean by soaking in alcohol then BLOWING on it (with your mouth)

**NO Poking anything thru it or Blowing thru it using High Pressure air

Follow the DC on circuit board

Thank You Biscuit! Cleaning the orifice worked. I had a bit of a scare for a minute because I had checked that the thermal fuse was still intact. It had continuity so I plugged it back up. And after cleaning the orifice and getting everything back together I got the red fault light for both gas and electric. So I put some dielectric grease on the only electrical part I unplugged and everything worked. Apparently I didn't plug in the thermal fuse enough.

Thank you again. This saved me some money and cold showers, as I live in my camper permanently on my property.
