You must have an exemplary dealer or the Michigan ones suck?

I do have a great dealer. Not perfect, but they try hard.

Sorry that you are having so many problems with them.

As is mine though the problems with our 343RL have been too minor to travel 150 miles to have him fix though he did paint (very nicely) the faded nose cap at his expense plus replace the leaky Thetford toilet under warranty on the single trip back. The new toilet is still a piece of junk, but that is not Keystone's fault which means a Dometic 300 series is in our future.

Here is more to the story!!!

I stopped at a dealer 400 miles away to get some warranty work done this was at 6 months old.

I will even tell you the name and location of the dealer it was Camping World in Robertsdale Alabama I am not bashing this dealer they did all they could before Keystone stopped them from working on the unit. The work they did do was excellent.

When they got the unit in the shop they called me to the service desk and told me they couldn’t work on the plumbing system because they had to remove the belly covering and that took several days. When I informed them I had observed the dealer do it in 30 minutes they decided to do the work.

The next call from the service desk was to tell me the service technician needed to talk to me. When the technician started telling me he had the belly down but couldn’t get technical information on the system involved I handed the service information out of my briefcase and when he saw it he begged me to let him keep it because Keystone would not allow them to get it from the manufacture of the equipment installed.

The last call from the service desk was to tell me Keystone has told them to stop working on the unit because they would not pay any more. The technician did the best he could before Keystone stopped him from working on the unit. It turned out that some of the parts to the system were installed upside down. Remember the trailer construction is started on the production line with the frame upside down for ease of access to the plumbing and wiring etc.

I have found out since that Keystone does not have any quality control system on the production line and only does was we would call a PDI inspection at the end of the line.

I hope you got yours fixed. When I had to sign a waver relieving the selling dealer of all warranty responsibility I should have backed out of the deal. Obviously the Largest Privately owned RV Dealer had too many losing lawsuits with customers on Keystone products to have this policy.

I see little evidence of Quality Control in the build of my coach. Many screws driven at 40 degree angles, fit just a little off, drain pipes obviously badly glued and leaking,

So far every contact with keystone has been a brush off or no response. I have hopes they will complete the needed repairs.

It is also irritating that many owners want to deny my shoddy treatment by Keystone. Of course many of their coaches were made many years ago and are not typical of today's models. I am sure the quality varies greatly from build teams.
