too bad you didn't think of the second A/C before you ordered the TT. factory install for wiring is only $125 more. the wires to run the fantastic fan are 12v not 120 v which is needed for the A/C.

AC Unit

Just ordered the 2nd AC unit online. After visiting my local Camping World and talking to our sales person we decided to order a drop in. That way we control the temp in the bedroom and not freeze my daughter in the living room. Our camper is already prewired for the 2nd unit.

I found a good deal on one at www.camperpartsworld.com. Free Shipping! My husband and I will install it next week.

In our last trailer we had used reflectix from Lowes with velcro on the corners to hold it in place. A fraction of the price and did not look tacky.. On the to-do list with this trailer..

Propane storage cover straps

Something we found with our trailer this week. The rubber straps that hold the black plastic cover on the front were to short and started a fine crack in the fiberglass. The RV shop spotted it quickly and I tried a second set of straps which are 1/4" too long - searching for a good replacement. I may also place nylon washers under the screws at the bottom to prevent the nuts from digging into the plastic cover.

New Trailer

We picked up our new trailer this weekend from Colerain RV. Everything went well, only a couple of minor issues that they took care of before we left. We love the trailer! We actually bought it sight unseen and only saw photo's and we were not disappointed. The trip back home went well, the trailer pulls great. The only casualty thoughout the trip was the TV remote. It fell on the floor and when I opened the slide after we got home, it got crushed.

Congratulations!!! We bought ours sight unseen too and absolutely love it!! Oh yeah, we broke our remote the same way. We have now learned to ALWAYS put it in the cabinet. You can find a replacement on ebay for about $10 so if that is the only thing you break, consider yourself lucky!
