I need a replacement panel that holds the tank dump valve handles.

One of our hoses had a leak, and black tank valve started to wobble, so previous owner hired someone to fix it. Their fix was to leave the leak leaking, and put a large washer on both sides of the rotten wood. So I now have a large chunk of saturated and rotten plywood and two drain valves that are breaking through the material.

I need to replace the entire back panel. See pictures of front and back of panel.

Any idea where I could get one of these? I could make it, but it would be a lot of work, but not out of the question, if that is the route I will need to go.

Try a search for RV salvage yards, or you could make one out of Starboard, its a plastic sheet used in boats.

AWESOME idea with the Starboard! and would only cost me $40 for the size I need.

Thanks for the suggestion.

If I cannot find one already cut and labeled, this will be the route I go.

Well, went a cheap route. Bought a piece of Lexan plexiglass, cut it to fit, drilled the holes out for the two valve handles, and used plasti-dip to coat the wood after I dried it all out. Still using the large washers on both sides of the wood/lexan, just to keep torque pressures off the lexan and having it maybe crack later on down the road.

Of course, I bought all the stuff I needed, but since I have had it apart for about three days, when I was reassembling everything, I lost one of the big nuts and washers for the drain pulls, so back to the store for replacements, before I can put the entire area back together again
