New "Vantage" Trailer

So, what do folks think of Keystone's highly secretive new travel trailer, "Vantage"? You can see pictures here; Keystone Vantage.

One week ago, Keystone started placing leaks in industry news outlets about this travel trailer saying the new line was “top secret” and "thousands of hours to develop a product that is truly game changing" had been invested. They went on to say that “one look at this new product and our dealers will instantly know that this is a new perspective on camping. There is nothing like it on the market today. Consumers will flock to and get excited about [it].”

The product is being positioned to not compete with any of the existing Keystone brands and it's priced to “hit the sweet spot of the market”, whatever that means.

At this time, I have not seen any pictures of the inside of the trailer. From the outside, there are no graphics other than the sub-brand name. And, the trailer appears to sit very low to the ground without any stabilizer bars. To me, it looks like the back would scrape the ground in a lot of real-world driving conditions.

Interesting!
Looks like a really big molded fiberglass trailer, but it's not....
Any information about pricing yet?

Maybe it has an air ride suspension that lifts it up for travel.
I know there was 5ver a couple years back that had something like that to make it easier to get in and out. It never went to market.

Me too! RV Trader reported this afternoon that he's got some interior pictures that he's planning to post on his Facebook page.

I think they wanted to introduce it to the dealers first and gauge their reaction. It'll be interesting to see if they actually bring this to market. It looks like it would be a beast to tow.

Now THAT would be sweet! It would certainly make it like a Mercedes of TT's.

Looks like a dual step entry.

I haven't seen anything yet. I'm just as perplexed by what they meant when they said it will, "hit the sweet spot of the market". A good reporter would have immediately followed-up and asked them to define what they meant.

No apology necessary!
It isn't against the rules that I know of...
It's just darn confusing to intellectually challenged types like me...
Especially if the threads have nearly the same name!

Anyway, thanks for introducing the trailer here- I'm dying to hear how much they're going to charge for it.

And what do you bet we'll be hearing about how "aerodynamic" it is...the favorite refrain of the Rounded Edge Trailer crowd!

Too funny! The first thing I thought when I saw it was clearly they didn't do any wind tunnel testing on this puppy. The second thing was how are you supposed to tow this thing in the real world with beating/scraping the bottom to death?

At this point, it looks like something created by an Operations group, not a Design group. I wonder if they've even had the thing on the road yet? I bet it's done nothing more than move from Area 51 in their factory to the Open House show in their parking lot.

Yeah!

That whole "AREA 51" thing- what a crackup!
"Top Secret"????
"Only a few people were allowed to see it"???
Are there actually Trailer Espionage Bad Guys out there?
I'm picturing:
"Yogi Bear: International Man of Stealing Trailer Secrets".

I'll stay tuned to this station for the next Exciting Developments....
