I bought a 2019 2950Bh, so slightly different. I think the 292BH is a good compromise for getting the dedicated bunk room.
As far as build quality, these Passport GT series are solidly acceptable. I would plan for a trip to the dealer within the first year to fix the things that break on your first few shakedown passes. Mine is in the shop now for trim issues, water heater circuit board and the water pump (which I think I burned out shhhh!)
Sadly, pretty much any new RV will require warranty work to fix underlying quality issues, even outdoors RV level trailers costing double the price of these.
Compared to my friends Coleman and Forest River stick and tin campers, I absolutely love mine. It's no Winnebago, Outdoors RV, Lance or Grand Design, but I got it new for $28k OTD and it has 90% of the features I want and 100% of those I need.
I say pull the trigger if you like the floorplan...
